Danny is a Canadian alternative singer-songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist from Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. His career started with the rock band POSTLUDE which propelled him into a music tour of Western Canada and ultimately lead him to winning Ottawa’s Edge Magazine songwriting contest. While on tour, Danny caught the ear of multiplatinum Producer Paul Devilliers (Mr. Mister, Yes). Devilliers pushed the band’s songwriting abilities to new creative heights.
In 2016, Danny released a solo project Heart and Soul which was added by influential blog/play lister Songpickr (Berlin), and received airplay recognition from 88.3 Southern FM in Melbourne Australia.
Danny has also been recognized for his musical contributions to the theatre community. In 2017 he composed the sound track for the Theatre Howl’s production of Look//See, and for Gumshoe Productions production of Peach which toured across Western Canada.
While juggling multiple projects Danny was hard at work on his debut album "When the Lights Go Down" which released in June of 2018 and within a month reached 10,000 streams across all platforms. His lead single "Memories Survive" was featured by play lister BIRP! (New York) July 2018 playlist. His album was then featured on K106.3FM in Ontario, Canada.
Moving forward, Danny has continued to build off his previous success with his new single “This Life Could Be For Us” which was recently shared on UK blog Mystic Sons new music discovery.
